The guy behind the camera
My name is Scott.
My video career began in high school making videos of my friends -- shooting on video tape in 2002! In the 18 years since, technology has come so far and I've grown with it, from enthusiast to professional.
After transferring to USC in 2007, I immediately got involved in student life. I became a DJ on WUSC 90.5FM with my own radio show on Saturday afternoon. USC’s student-run newspaper "The Daily Gamecock" was right down the hall from the radio station. Soon I began working as a photographer shooting local news weekly for the paper. I honed my practical skills capturing Cocky and Gamecock football games, countless campus events, and major news events like Nikki Hailey’s gubernatorial election. I expanded these skills with a major in Visual Communications. My senior year I served as the paper's photo editor and managed 10 student photographers covering events for our 15-20 page daily paper.
After graduating in 2010 I worked for a non-profit research organization, spending 8 years as the in-house multi-media manager. This included shooting photos and videos, planning social media content, conducting interviews, and more. Today, I want to work with you as a professional photographer and filmmaker. What can "and more" look like to you?
"Capturing the moments of today that will wow your heart tomorrow"
